Meaghan Gessner Bio
Meaghan Gessner received her Bachelor of Arts and Diploma in ASL-English Interpreting in 2006 from the University of Manitoba and Red River College. Meaghan has worked in a variety of settings as an interpreter, including K-12 and post secondary. Meaghan starting working with Manitoba Education in 2007 as an ASL-English interpreter, and has since become the Educational Interpreting Consultant with Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning. Meaghan is a strong advocate for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. She is currently the President of the Manitoba Association of Visual Language Interpreters.”
